World We Imagine Post 3

  “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Sometimes we fail to realize that our privileges are something to be taken for granted but used to help others in need. We watch the new seen atrocities around the world, but what good does it do to be a bystander? Sometimes it feels that there are so many fires surrounding us that we don't know where to start, but that doesn't mean we give up. So I decided to help a cause that is personal to me: helping foster youth that age out of the system. The organization's name is called helping hands, which will provide tools to help children transition into adulthood and give them routines to propose in life that these people arent provided as being apart of the system. Also, the trauma these children take to do through affects their lives and future. So when they age out of the system, it becomes difficult for them to accum...
